Jade Morris:    
                       Jade is a year 7 student at Okehampton College. She has been playing for 3 years and joined the Training
                       Band when it started and played in her 1st concert during Christmas 2005. Jade has been playing at Senior
                       Band rehearsals for 2 year and will be playing in her 1st Contest at Torquay in November 2006. Netball, Football,
                       Guides, playing her Guitar and Cornet take up alot of Jades time but she is still going to find time to take her
                       grade 3 Cornet In December. Jade has a real talent for the Cornet and will be a valuable member for the band in
                       the years to come.
Josh Quick:      
                        
Josh is in year 6 at Okehampton Primary School. He started playing the cornet 3 years ago and stated in the
                         Senior Band 2 years ago on 3rd cornet and has now progressed to 2nd cornet . He plays rep in training      
                         band and plays his cornet in the school orchestra. He has played at numerous contests and competitions,
                         his highlight coming 2nd out of 22 in the 12 & under section at bideford when he was only 10yrs. He
                         passed his grade 4 cornet this year and is now practising for his grade 5. Sleeping and eating are his main
                         concerns in life. However playing his cornet, swimming, scouts, cross country and walking his dog
                         (sometimes) takes up his remaining time. His aim is to play his cornet as well as Greg Morgan and take
                         his seat in the band!   
Ellen Parker
                       
Ellen joined the Band in 2007 after lets say after a few years since she last played a cornet. She works in
                        adminisration for a large food company in Okehampton and also lives in the town with husband Clive and her
                        two lovely boys Lewis & Owen. Ellen started her banding with Okehampton juniors and also the senior band.
                        Ellen played Flugel before her retirement but now is enjoys being back playing again.

James Woodhams:
                        James is a student at Okehampton College and joined the Band in Sept 05 and is an active member of both
                        the Training and Senior Bands. His hobbies other than band include Music, Drama, Rugby, Surfing, Tennis
                        and even Warhammer ( Dont ask me, I think you should ask James).

Jane Fawcett:
                        Jane has made the step from the Training Band to the senior band in a short space of time. She spends her
                        day as a Primary School Teacher, Mum and house-fairy!! Jane other hobbies include
Walking, Talking,
                        Drinking and eating - not necessarily in that order.

Claire Pratt:
                        Claire is a Nurse and learnt to read music as a child but I only started to learn the cornet in October 2005 and first
                        contested with HSB in March 2006. It was Hatherleigh Band and music that brought Claire and Greg Morgan our
                        ( Principal Cornet ) together. Claire loves the outdoors, and dog-walking is a perfect excuse to get out and about
                        each day. Claires friends are really important to her and she loves girly chatter, and meals with friends and family.
                        She has two grown up children Will and Cath and is very proud of them.
Andrew Collier (alias Jessica):
                        
Andrew is a student at Okehampton College. He has progressed into the Senior Band in a very
                         short time. In 2004 he passed grade 4, he also won the solo award at Bideford Solo contest, In 2005 he
                         was part of the duet that came 1st. Andrew is also a member of the College Big Band and was part of
                         the Band to tour Hong Kong in Oct 05. Andrew plays all sports but his true love is cricket, he plays for
                         Hatherleigh. His other hobbies include eating , sleeping and watching TV. Andrews most
                         memorable band engagement was Iddesleigh Club Day 2004 when he says he really enjoyed the 
                         refreshments. Andrew recently moved onto the Sop, an instrument that he now loves.
Jasmin Quick:
                        Jaz is the youngest member of the senior band and is in her final year at North Tawton Primary School.
                        She started playing in 2007 after listening to Mum and Dad play for as long as she can remember. Jaz enjoys
                        playing all sport but loves Netball, Athletics and Swimming most of all. Jasmin's favouite piece's of music are
                        the march 'Slaidburn' and the test piece ' Four Cities Symphony'
