Andrew Dennis
Andy is a Local Builder and started playing for HSB in 1977 at the young age of 13, he played until he
was 21. He took time out to play Rugby Union for Okehampton RFC and is proud to have been picked
on numerous occasions to play for Devon. Andy's hobbies of Keeping Fit ad Drinking fit nicely around
his Rugby, He also enjoys a stroll with his gun and in his own words 'Shooting Furry Animals'. The
Percussion Section welcomed Andy back in 2005 to play for Contests, since then he has become
more involved and is a valuable member of the kitchen sink department.
Lois Quick:
Lois works as a practice nurse in Tavistock and has just started a masters degree at plymouth university.
She started playing percussion in the band 18mths ago in 2005, as a complete beginner - the idea being to
save petrol ferrying Josh to and from band ! However she now loves playing (even the wrong notes) and
especially the intensity of contesting. Her musical history comes from playing the violin and piano since the
age of 7. She has little time for hobbies between work, looking after her 3 children and studying but does
enjoy reading, walking and playing her violin and piano in her church band.
