TRAINING BAND

Our training band is held on a Monday evening from 6pm-7pm. It is run by Emma Heard with Assistance from Donna Lewis. Other members of HSB volunteer their time as instructors on a weekly basis.

Please contact us if you or your child would be interested in joining.

We welcome ANYBODY, young or old, who would like to come and train with us with the view to progressing onto the Senior Band or just for fun.

We will provide you with an instrument and a great way of meeting new people. We would love to see you.

Hatherleigh Silver Band operates within the guidelines of The British Federation of Brass Bands Child Protection Policy and Procedures. We have two members who have completed the required Band Safe Training from Brass Band England.

The Training Band are very grateful to West Devon Borough Locality Fund for giving the Training Band £500 to replace a few of the instrument cases which are beyond repair and to purchase some new music for them to play.

HSB Training Band gets a new logo

The Training Band have been going from strength to strength. They have grown significantly since Brassed Up 2025 and was only right that they should have their very own logo moving forwards. A massive thank you to Rachel from Chameleon Studio who did this for us.
